Environmental Officer

Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of Newmont’s environmental systems to ensure compliance with Newmont Standards at Boddington.

Good environmental performance demonstrates Newmont’s Social Licence to Operate philosophy and ensures that relationships with key stakeholders (Newmont, Contractors, Suppliers, Consultants, Government Regulators, Land Councils etc) are maintained through active, open and honest communication / consultation.

To be successful in this role you will have a higher education qualification in the Environment (eg Environmental Engineering / Science Degree, Diploma of Natural Resource Management) as well as 2 years mine site experience.
